Windsurfing: Levington Wind Direction: ssw Wind Stength: 10/24 Surf / Sea State: fairly flat Air Temperature: 11 Sea Temperature: 7 Weather: cloudy then sun :) Max Speed: 23.42 (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 12.33 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)
After yesterdays return to winter chill :( I couldn't face an open sea sail
and as David Coles had finished repairing my longboard again !!! it was
Levington again.I dropped Mag off so she could walk the four miles in the
country, picked up my board from David and was parked up at Levington
Marina entrance at 11:30. With the ssw wind gusting to 24 mph and the tide
nearly low decided to try 8.5, after a short beat out of the marina
entrance channel I headed out across the bay and things were looking good
for an okay day as the wind seemed to be on the up !!! I then turned and
reached to Pin Mill about three miles but sadly the wind was dropping and
very gusty :( I had an hour before returning to the van to meet up with Mag
for cuppa soup - we know how to live :) but as I waited for a large coaster
the motor past I laid my sail in the shallows and when I went to sail off
found I had shreaded yet another panel in my beloved 8.5 and it is now
officially dead :( - now looking for a 8.5 Tushingham Lightning - can
anyone help ???
After lunch and with the sun replacing the grey gloom I had a few more runs
as the tide came in but nothing special so called it a day - so another day
when the wind didn't make it to Suffolk :(
Wanted : now looking for a Fanatic Mega Cat in really good condition and a
Tushingham Lightning 8.5 - can anyone help ???
